Virat Kohli Leases Office Space to Mynd Integrated Solutions
In a recent development, cricketer Virat Kohli has reportedly leased out 18,430 square feet of office space in Gurugram to the corporate firm Mynd Integrated Solutions. The annual rental for this space amounts to Rs 1.27 crore, as per documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm.
According to documents cited by Moneycontrol, Kohli has leased a total of 12 office spaces with a combined built-up area of 18,430 square feet in the Reach Comercia corporate tower located in sector 68 of Gurugram. The deal was finalized at a monthly rental of approximately Rs 8.85 lakh.
The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 3.83 lakh, along with registration fees of Rs 50,010. The lessee, Mynd Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, is a Delhi-based firm. Facilitated through Vikas Kohli, the registered General Power of Attorney (GPA) holder for Virat Kohli, who is also his brother.
The stamp-duty registration for the transaction took place on June 22, 2023, but the documents about the deal were not made accessible until March 2024. The initial monthly rent per square foot for the deal is Rs 48, with a security deposit of Rs 57.19 lakh. Additionally, the office spaces come with 37 parking slots.
The lease spans nine years, starting from March 28, 2023, with rental payments commencing on July 1, 2023. Under the agreement terms, there will be a yearly rent escalation of five percent, while the common area maintenance charges amount to Rs 14 per square foot per month.
